Plantathon 2009-2010This year, 250 school children and family members from five schools on the Olympic Peninsula, WA, are planting 5,000 trees near a newly-restored stream. The growing forest will shade the stream and benefit fish and wildlife on a protected sanctuary.
Original Artwork Being Auctioned
Max Grover's original artwork for this year's tree card could be yours! The 8" x 11" oil painting comes framed and matted; the finished piece is 16" x 20". Bidding starts at $800. The winner is also eligible for a tax-deductible donation for the amount beyond its original $800 value. The original artwork will be on display at Aldrich's Market (940 Lawrence Street in Uptown Port Townsend) from January 25 until February 11. The email auction will conclude February 12, 2010 at 4 pm.

To raise money for our schools, we are selling cards to represent each tree being planted. 100% of proceeds fund the following participating schools:
