Hi Parents,

Hope you're all enjoying summer! We have a few brief but important details to catch you up on...

*** SCHOOL YEAR KICK-OFF AUGUST 25th ***
Registration, work party and BBQ from 10am - 4pm

It will be required that all families resister for school in person this year! We will be registering all students, new and returning, on August 25, as well as having our annual work party in preparation for the first day of school. We plan on having a BBQ, treats and family fun.

Please watch for your registration packets to arrive the third week of August. They will have instructions and information about the registration process. Fill out all paperwork completely and bring it to the registration/work party Aug 25th. If you are UNABLE to attend the registration event on the 25th, please contact the office to make arrangements for a registration appointment on the first day of school.

*** COMMITTEE RALLY ***
Trying to get a jump start on the committee work for the year, we will be having a meeting at El Sarape on Friday Aug 10th from 4 to 6 pm. If you'd like to have a part in committee leadership in the coming year, please plan on attending this informal and fun get-together. Contact Traci Tanner for more information: 379-2511.

*** MARK YOUR CALENDARS ***
The school calendar will be fully updated online by the end of the week, but here are a few important dates to get on your calendars right now: August 25 - School Year Kick-Off and Registration
September 5 - First day of school
September 14-15 - All School Family Campout at Salt Creek

*** MISSING YEARBOOKS ***
Does anyone have any idea where our old yearbooks have gone? We had a set of yearbooks in the office dating back more than ten years, and they seem to have gone missing. We really need these for historical purposes-- if you have any idea where they might be, please, please contact the office.

*** UPDATING EMAIL LIST ***
Our email list has not been updated for the 2007-2008 school year yet; to have your address removed from the email mailing list, please send an email to webmaster@swanschool.net with your email address and we'll get you off of there! (Otherwise the database will be updated in mid-August.)
