A few last things before we head off for the holidays...

VACATION STARTS 12:30 FRIDAY
Friday 12/21 is a half day with 12:30 dismissal. We'll resume class on Monday, January 7. Have a wonderful break!

SALMON ART CONTEST
Audrey, our art teacher, asked us to pass along the word about a national youth art contest celebrating wild salmon that she's encouraged the kids to enter. The event is open to students in K-12, and full details are available at . Some of the kids have begun entries at school; please encourage them to work on them during vacation, as the deadline to have things back to school is Wednesday, January 9.

PLANTATHON TREE CARDS
One last plea before vacation to please sell your tree cards! We are behind last year's sales at this time so we really need you to get your cards sold. They make great stocking stuffers and there will never be a better or easier time to sell them! After the holidays we'll be asking you to start turning in your money and any remaining cards so we know what we have left. Thanks to all of you who have already sold yours!
