Hi Parents,

Between electives, the full moon and excitement about tomorrow night's concert, it's been an active week here! A few brief announcements:

NO FRIDAY COFFEE TOMORROW
I know we just got you all excited about this again, but due to the evening potluck, we're opting to skip the official coffee and treats tomorrow. That said, feel free to bring your own coffee and stay for a visit! We'll resume regular "coffee hour" next Friday.

CONCERT TOMORROW
Friday, 1/25 at 6 pm at the First Baptist Church on Lawrence in Uptown. We will have a finger-food potluck following the concert; please bring a snack to share. The students have all been working hard on their various parts-- we're looking forward to a great concert!

1/2 DAY WEDNESDAY 1/30
Just a reminder, we'll have an early dismissal next week on Wednesday. Loida will be running her after-school program from 12:30-5:30.

SCHOLASTIC ORDERS DUE 2/1
Your new Scholastic book order catalogs are in your child's hanging folders. Please have orders turned in to the box in the office no later than Friday, 2/1.

NEW HEELIE POLICY
Heelies are fun, but due to several spills and the new non-skid surfaces that are going to be applied to the ramps, the new policy is that if Heelies are worn to school, helmets must be worn as well. Russ has talked to the kids about the policy, and they understand that they will be asked to remove the wheels if the Heelies are worn to school without a helmet. Thanks for your help in supporting this!

THANKS TO SIENNA!
Be sure to stop by the office tomorrow morning to thank Sienna for filling in for Flossie these past three weeks! She's been a huge help. We'll look forward to seeing Flossie back from her travels on Monday.
