Hi Parents,

We're barreling through a busy week here... Everyone did a great job at the Learner Expo last night-- thank you for YOUR help with props and costumes, getting kids here on time, and being a good audience!

LOIDA'S "WINTER CAMP" NEXT WEEK
No school next week. Loida is willing to hold "Winter Camp" next week if enough kids sign up. Camp will be Tuesday-Friday, 9-3:30. Cost is $30 per day. Please call her directly at 643-0227 ASAP (by Friday morning) if you would like your child to participate-- she will decide by Friday afternoon whether or not to hold camp.

ALL SCHOOL FIELD TRIP FRIDAY
This Friday we have our annual ice skating party in Bremerton. Discoverers are welcome to attend if accompanied by a parent; there will be no class for them on Friday. We are still in need of a few drivers-- please sign up in the office (or email us and let us know how many kids you can take). If your child will NOT be going, please let us know ASAP. The schedule for the day is as follows:

• School will begin as usual at 9am.
• Drivers should be at school by 10:15 am to receive carpool assignments.
• Leave school at 10:30, eat sack lunch when we arrive. In the park if weather permits, or in parking lot.
• Noon-2pm skate
• Back at school by 3:30.

Wear comfortable skating clothes and bring a hat, gloves and warm, heavy socks to wear with your rental skates.

SCHOOL ENROLLMENT
If you have friends who are considering Swan School for their children next year, encourage them to contact us and get on the waiting list. There has been a high level of interest in all grade levels, and we are likely to be full in several classrooms.
