Hi Parents,

Here is what is coming up and currently happening at Swan School this week.

EARTH DAY EVENTS INVOLVING SWAN STUDENTS
Navigators and Adventurers will be singing and playing this Sunday at Memorial Field. Please get their permision slips into the office by Friday (tomorrow). Wear your Swan Sweatshirts for the performances.

PARENT MEETING
Plan on attending the Parent Meeting on Tuesday, April 29th. New Board members have been nominated and must be elected by you, the parent body.

EARLY DISMISSAL
Wednesday, April 23. 12:30 dismissal. Teacher Prep day. Loida will be offering her after school program beginning at 12:30. Please contact her personally to make arrangements. Her phone # is 643-0227.

EXPLORER'S LUNCH
Today the school was filled with the delicious aroma of vegetable soup prepared by the Explorers for their parents at their Poetry Cafe. They also printed up a wonderful newspaper called "The Swan Explorer". It is delightful reading and we hope to have it up on our web page very soon if you missed it. There will be a few office copies available to read as well.

MARATHON RUNNERS
If your child has done miles over spring break or on their own time Stacey must have a signed note from you with the amount. Please get these in to Stacey by next Friday. April 25th, so she can add them to the totals at school.

WAREHOUSE PRODUCTION OPPORTUNITIES
We have four opportunities to raise funds by doing warehouse production work. We need you to sign up in the office. This is a grand opportunity to get your volunteer hours in and help our school as well. Time is 9:30-1. Here are the dates:

TUES. MAY 27
WED. MAY 28
SAT. MAY 31 (This is not Memorial Day weekend)
