Hi Parents,

Several things to be aware of this week...

NEW PARKING PROCEDURE AT SWAN
We are encouraging you to park on the Kuhn St. side whenever possible and particularly after hours rather than 24th St. We had a neighbor visit this week that said he and several other neighbors are bothered by the noise of the cars driving on our gravel on the 24th St. side from early morning to late in the evening. He was *very* nice about it, but works from home and said it's driving him nuts. So please, whether you're coming for a before-school class, a mid-day class, an after-school activity or are here on the weekend, please park on the grass on Kuhn instead of the gravel on 24th. We really want to keep our neighbors happy! We are also looking into some alternative surface cover that may be quieter, but that won't likely happen right away.

WEDNESDAY AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM NO LONGER AVAILABLE
Loida will not be able to have her after school program on Wednesdays until further notice. Please make other arrangements for Wednesdays only.

TUITION DUE
Please be sure to get your May tuition check into the box in the office. Thanks!

CINCO DE MAYO POTLUCK
Monday May 5 we will be celebrating Cinco de Mayo from 1-2:20 with a potluck and salsa dancing. Explorers, Navigators and Adventurers will be coming home with their potluck contribution assignments. Discoverer families are welcome to stay and join us!

SPRING CONCERT MAY 9
Our upcoming Spring Concert will be held on Friday, May 9th from 6-8PM at the First Baptist Church on Lawrence. ALL children, Discoverers through Adventurers, will be performing.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

RHODY WEEK KIDDIE PARADE
We will need some help with our Kiddie Parade entry-- please BRING FLOWERS the morning of Friday, May 16. These will be used to decorate our Swan float. We can use some more helpers that morning to help decorate, and then again that afternoon to help organize the kids. Please sign up in the office.

WAREHOUSE WORK
Help with warehouse production at Toland from 9:30 to 1 and make money for the school. You'll get to know some other parents and be surprised at how fast the time goes! Available dates are:

• May 22nd - Thursday
• May 27th - Tuesday
• May 28th - Wednesday
• May 31st - Saturday
