Hi Parents,

Now that we have recovered from our big spring concert it's on to the Rhody Festival. We will be participating in the Kiddie Parade

Friday morning bring a few flowers to decorate the float

RHODY KIDDIE PARADE
Friday, May 16
Assembly at Van Buren & Lawrence, (by the fire station uptown) at 2:45 PM, Judging at 3:10 PM Parade begins at 3:30PM. The theme this year is "Happily Ever After" We are putting an ecological twist on this theme, with our earth living "happily ever after" so our theme will be clean air & water, alternative transportation,farming, etc... Just have kids wear Swan T shirts or sweatshirts, props will be provided.

GRAVEL SHIPMENT
We are getting a dump truck of special gravel delivered to our 24th st. parking area. We need workers to help rake it out and roll it. please let us know in the office if you can help out this weekend.

UNCLAIMED DISHES
Lots of lovely dishes left from the teacher appreciation lunches, please come into the office and claim.

CONGRATULATIONS SAYAKA
Sayaka Roth, from the Navigators class, entered the Seattle Children's Theatre contest for drawing a dress in honor of the play "The Hundred Dresses". Out of 150 entries Sayaka took first place! Read abut her and see her art work at http://www.sct.org/index.aspx.

MISSING JACKETS
1. Australian black & white pile with flags from different countries.
2. "Spyder" black pile.
Please return them to school or Ari Pape-Uphoff if you know their whereabouts.

WAREHOUSE WORK
9:30am to 1pm. Sign up in office or email the office with your shift. We still need workers for the following dates:

Thurs. May 22: seven volunteers needed
Tues. May 27: 3 volunteers needed
Wed. May 28th: 5 volunteers needed
Sat. May 31: 2 volunteers needed
