ITEMS NEEDED FOR ART
We're going to be cleaning up and repainting the birdhouses that used to be on the school. Audrey asked if you have any paint scrapers we could borrow (please label them with your name) or sandpaper we could have, please send them to school ASAP! Also she asked that you send a large paper bag with your child next week so they can bring home this year's art projects and leftover supplies. Please remember that the clear plastic boxes STAY in the art room.YEARBOOK ORDERS
The 2007-2008 yearbook is almost ready, and looks like it's going to be a great one! Please let us know ASAP how many copies you'd like so we know how many to order. They will be $15 each, and will be ready to pick up next Wednesday or Thursday.FRIDAY COFFEE

Several of our kids have been accumulating miles in PE and will run the final 1.2 miles (out of 26.2) in Port Angeles on Saturday as part of the North Olympic Discovery Marathon. We wish them luck and congratulate them on their accomplishment!DISCOVERY VIEW FIELD TRIP 6/10
Enrichment groups B & C and will have a quick trip up to the Discovery View Retirement Community next Tuesday at 2:15pm. The violin ensemble will perform, and all the kids will sing. Then they will transplant the sunflower and pumpkin seeds that they planted a few weeks ago with the residents. The plan is to have them return in the fall for another visit and to harvest the pumpkins! We will need a few drivers for this one-- sign up in office.FAREWELL TO DEPARTING FAMILIES/STAFF/BOARD 6/10
Our regularly-scheduled parent meeting will be a farewell to departing families, staff and board members. Please join us in thanking them and saying goodbye. Pizza at 5:30, formal gathering will be at 6. We promise a few laughs and maybe a tear or two...ALL SCHOOL FIELD TRIP 6/12
We're heading to the new picnic shelter at Old Fort Townsend for a day of fun and for a formal celebration of the graduating and departing Adventurers. The official ceremony will start around 2 pm, but you're welcome to join us all day! And guess what? We need drivers! Sign up in office.TALENT SHOW FRIDAY 6/13
