Sparky's mom, Jenny, will be performing at the Upstage for her new CD release party on Saturday night, January 16, starting at 7:30 pm. There's no cover, and it might be fun if we got a bunch of Swan parents together and showed up to support her!

HOME ENERGY AUDIT
Ask your child about the Home Energy Audit that was supposed to be coming home with your child (all but Discoverers). The Adventurers would like those back by Tuesday. Thanks for helping them with this neat project!

PLANTATHON UPDATE
Look in your child's hanging folders tomorrow afternoon for Plantathon information! We still need a couple more crew leaders and parking volunteers-- please sign up in the office. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR CONCERT
We could use 3-4 volunteers to help with setup and take-down for our Winter Concert on Friday, February 5. Please let me know if you can help!

SUB FOR CARRIE FRIDAY
Thank you to Tracy Thompson for covering for me tomorrow-- with all our various subs this week I thought I'd get in on the action and take a day off! Thank you to all of you, parents and staff alike, who helped this week with covering extra recess duty, doing art projects with kids, taking an extra afternoon class, etc. It's so nice to have such a willing and able staff *and* parent body!
