POETRY WORKSHOP TOMORROW
The kids are going to have a fun morning tomorrow! Lorraine Ferra will be coming in to do poetry workshops with three different age groups. The kids will be grouped by next year's classes, giving them a a chance to work together with the kids they'll be in class with *next* year. Should be fun!

NEW STUDENT STARTING MONDAY
We have a new student, Santina Paresi, starting in the Navigator's class on Monday. Please help us welcome her!

ADVENTURERS ADVENTURING
Melinda's class is off to Centrum next week for Water World, a week of hands-on marine studies taking place at Fort Worden. Have a great time, Adventurers! The Navigators will get to try out being the Big Kids next week...

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION DEADLINE
Scholarship applications MUST be complete by May 7 in order to be considered for the spring round of scholarship awards. Paperwork submitted after that time will be considered when the Scholarship Committee convenes again in August. Scholarship determinations will be made the first week in June.

MAY EVENTS - GET YOUR CALENDARS!
There is a LOT going on in May-- pace yourself!

5/10 Hearing and Vision screening at 9:30 am -- I can use 3 volunteers for this (about 3 hours)

5/11 or 5/12 Parent meeting-- stay tuned for more info! This will be a fun one!

5/14 12:30 dismissal; reconvene at 3:45 downtown for the Kiddie Parade!

5/21 Spring Concert at the UU church down the street

5/27 Learner Exposition
